The Waupaca Wrestling Club provides a safe and fun environment for any child from 4k through 8th grade to learn wrestling, self-confidence, determination, teamwork, and leadership. Boys and girls are encouraged to join and we offer separate practices! Practices are held 4 days a week December through February with advanced practices continuing through March for anyone choosing to compete for State.
COED Practices begin the week of December 5th, 2023. at Waupaca Middle School.
ALL GIRL practices will start the week of January 2nd, 2024 at Waupaca High School.
Practices are held in the Waupaca Middle School Gym
Costs are *$50 per child, $100 max per family, December only option for Middle School Wrestlers $10

18 Middle School and Youth Wrestling Club wrestlers competed at the WWF Kids Folkstyle State Championship in Madison from March 24th-25th. What an accomplishment! 7 of these wrestlers placed in the top 6 and we have a THREE STATE CHAMPS - PIPER AYALA, MYA GUYETTE, & BRYNLEE VAUGHAN!

I would like to give a great big CONGRATUALTIONS, to all of our STATE QUALIFIERS. Between the Waupaca Youth, Lady Comets and Waupaca Middle School, we are sending a whopping 18 wrestlers to Kids Folkstyle State Championships in Madison on Friday and Saturday!!!

Waupaca Youth Wrestling Club 2019-2020
The Waupaca Youth Wrestling Club (WYWC) is a volunteer, non-profit organization that assists in developing wrestling programs to drive personal and educational growth of its wrestlers through healthy, challenging instruction and competition. WYWC is training our youth mentally and physically to be able to apply hard work and discipline on the mat as well as off the mat.
Wrestlers compete as individuals yet the sport builds comradery like no other.
